I spent the morning at the DOJ looking at the unredacted Epstein files. Here are my initial thoughts and what I’ve found, so far.

Based on my Epstein File review: Trump presided over the murder and dismemberment of at least 1 baby he fathered with a girl he raped. When Trump accuses Democrats of abortions that “rip babies out of the mother at 9 months and kill the baby,” he’s projecting, as always. He has committed that crime.

ideally those stories with number are supposed to be factual reporting, but they don’t have to be.

when stories with numbers become fictional, we tend to call them fraud.

This is true, and even if we get rid of Trump, we still have to reckon with the fact that a substantial proportion of US economic and political elites were *eager* to jump on the fascism train. They will still be the same people when Trump is gone.

Kind of wild that Americans voted to protect democracy in 2020 and even though We The People put a Dem Trifecta in power, we ended up in an even worse position in 2024 because our elected officials didn't so shit for 4 years and hoped we would save them again from their inability to lead.

I've gotten in the habit of calling my Senators to tell them to abolish ICE and dismantle DHS.
Easy enough to encourage them to vote for a new leadership too, since you clearly do not understand or care about the moment we're facing.

I'll say what I've been saying forever but it's especially true now: now is the time for Democrats to hammer the message that these things are being done by REPUBLICANS, not "Trump." People are ripe for you to create the dissonance of their identification as a Republican!

The first option is the only way if we want to save the republic. And it has to involve real consequences for all of these assholes.

Called both my senators too. I'm just going to make it part of the routine. Wake up, brush teeth, make tea, call my congressional delegation to demand ICE be destroyed.

Let me reiterate: THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH GUYS TO PERSECUTE LARGE NUMBERS OF DISSENTERS. What they are doing, instead, is using fear and paranoia as a force multiplier: they don’t have to persecute us if we keep ourselves home because someone told us we can’t walk in public without being terrified.

I would beseech the national media to stop writing sentences like one I just read that said basically "ICE's time in Minnesota is almost up." That is NOT an established fact. Please do not turn away. Please check the readily available information from people on the ground and local journalists.
