I haven't seen this since Family Guy stole it.

I had never before, and never since, ever felt so involuntarily dorky in my entire life.

At one point that year, I had a dream I went to a "Weird Al" Yankovic concert where he played a parody of that song, which included the line, "For I have dined on buffet food, and then I rolled a pair of dice", referencing the failed development of the Xanadu casino in Vegas in the 70s.

When I was going through my "Rush discovery" phase back in early 2023, going through all their albums one by one, I fell in love with many of their songs, one being "Xanadu" from A Farewell to Kings.

At the end of all things, at the very, very least, I streamed more than I did in 2024, and that's all I wanted. I just wanted to know that I followed through in my determination to be a more consistent streamer. If recap 2026 says I did 150+ streams, I'll be a happy clam.

I always get a little sad when I have to move, personally. I learn to get comfy and satisfied with my little nook, then have to upend it.
