To that end, I've enjoyed that that the new Pokemon has revealed so little about how it's going to play out, and really not much about itself besides a few Megas.

I agree wholeheartedly with both the idea that it's sort of existentially terrifying how quickly time passes, lmfao, and *also* that I think brand new games are best experienced unspoiled. The less I know about a new game, the better!

I've been playing that new Digimon game after all the hubbub about it online recently, and some pretty potent nostalgia for the DS Digimon games & the Tamers anime. I gotta say, based on peoples' opinions online and the trailers for it was kind of expecting more from the story lmfao.

In the Japanese version they made the pufferfish into a Garbage Puyo lmfao. Someone somewhere must have also thought that the item roster was really dire. & it's the only Puyo anything in either game, I believe...

So far, I have liked effectively everything about Sonic Crossworlds. Love the gameplay, the roster, the tracks- so, I am loathe to report my first real complaint.

I've found reasonably consistent success using Ultimate Charge, Counter Quick Charge, and Level 2 Quick Charge. Items can't bother you as often if you're snaking all the time and your level 4 drift charge is making you invincible.

I disagree, if only because it's a really great kart racer, meanwhile almost all but a couple of the M&S games are... well, just kinda bad. lol. And in general, I'd happily take a celebratory Sonic kart racer with lots of Sonic characters & locales & fan service over a mostly-generic Olympics game.

Personally, I'm glad about that. Based on what I've heard people say, a not-insignificant amount of the folks from the M&S games worked on Shadow Gens and Crossworlds... I'd hate for them to have to divide up their devs again just to make the 98th M&S Olympics game lol.

That's definitely the inspiration for it- I guess I just wish they justified it in-context better lol. All it amounts to in Lost World's story is that they can control Badniks... but without Eggman being there, that ability of theirs would be totally useless on the Lost Hex!

...Makes it harder for any of them to stand out individually. I still don't have any affection for Zomom or Zor for instance... But, it is the case that I don't actively hate all of them as much as I used to, lol, & the comics were a big help there.

I appreciated the comics taking a crack at them- in particular Zavok, who was a real stand-out in the Bad Guys mini-series. Zeti Hunt did some good work making them all a bit more enjoyable, but, even in the comics, the fact that the Deadly Six are almost always a package deal...

Sonic, Jet, and Shadow all sharing a VA in that era was so funny. Honestly surprising that they didn't get Jason to voice Silver while they were at it

But I will continue to at least enjoy how hammy they're making Zavok now. If he has to be around, at least he's likeable, even if all his friends aren't.

And now it's just way too late to go in depth on any of that and fix them in that regard, because nobody (including me) would ever want them to waste a bunch of time going over and patching over all that garbage lmfao. So they're just borked, tropey, ugly weirdos forever

They're such a damn mess, man!!! A consequence of debuting in the most apathetic Sonic game ever made. There are so many details about them that just don't make any sense to exist in a game that has no intention of explaining anything it does.

Perhaps above all... what in the world was the deal with the conch shell that Eggman blows to make them subservient to him? What is its relation to the Zeti? Frankly, just Anything. Any information at all about that would've been great lmfao.

Why can they control robots? Their home planet had no robots on it until Eggman appeared. Have they had to do that before? Can that power of theirs control other things and the robot bit is a happy coincidence for them?
