A bleak read but I find nothing here to disagree with. Let’s see what the details actually are and what the European Parliament has to say on it.

This sounds positive, a lot has been worked on behind the scenes so hopefully this indicates we can expect good EU-US news, which will be good for us too.

“These were all points the UK government denied. The Court also ruled that the actions taken by the UK could not be proven to be insufficient, and where I respect the Court I’m quite sure we have not heard the last of the role social media plays in our democracy.”

“Very glad that the Court accepted we had a right to bring the case, that there is a credible risk of mis- and -disinformation to our (and other states’) democracy and that governments have an obligation to investigate and enact measures to protect it.

Judgment in the #RussiaReport case is now out:

The case was brought by @benbradshaw.bsky.social @carolinelucas.bsky.social & @alynsmith.bsky.social who were all MPs when this began way back in 2020. And crowdfunded by the public with the help of @the-citizens.bsky.social.

The judgement will be handed down at 9am 😬
