Starmer & Mc Sweener have forgotten that the US in alliances with the UK have caused immigration through wars & made immigrants'lives unlivable in their host countries, such as Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan. PM should take responsibility to restore immigrants' lives rather than deporting them.

So in one speech he calls Farage a racist but in every action, policy announcement, his government is saying "Farage is right, the foreigners are the root cause of all of our problems and should punish them".

Which is the correct Starmer? I'd look to the actions

There are no words for the level of horribleness of Starmer's words and actions. Utterly shameful - and chilling. With a huge majority in parliament he could instead have been addressing the rocketing income inequality and systems of billionaire and corporate theft from 15 years of Tory rule.

Those who have claimed asylum from violence or trafficking or state persecution or war should not be spoken of as lottery winners.

Problem with Labour framing it as a binary choice between Labour and Reform is the growth of Reform shows it isn't. With Starmer only offering Reform Lite, and getting less "lite", Labour is hemorrhaging more voters to progressive parties, with ability to gain enough ground for a coalition. #r4today

Labour's whole pitch at the moment is "we have to attack minorities and marginalised groups, and reduce rights, to stop Reform attacking minorities and marginalised groups, and reducing rights".

People don't tend to vote based on negatives, and that's all Starmer is offering most voters. #r4today
