I'd quite like it if cancer research charities sent Christmas emails explaining what cancers they've cured, screened or treatments that improve lives.

But they tend to be more proud of the money they received from, one can only surmise, people who cancer took from their loved ones.

As a non-drinker it's difficult to find a drink that isn't just fizzy pop.

So, I've made my own drink, 'Limoncilli'

8 lemons, chopped and boiled with a hot chilli pepper and some root ginger, and some water

Drunk neat it's like a shot of whisky, diluted with sparkling water it's like a cocktail.

I'm working on a new image in my Brighton Laines series, hopefully it'll be done to go to the gallery next week.
