I think that's his point though, higher earners should be taxed more. It's good to have people on higher earnings (and I realize I am guessing wildly here as I have no idea how much Sean earns!) say this. Should be encouraged. And agree people at the bottom shouldn't be taxed more of course.

I’m not saying I won’t moan about it when the time comes to pay, but I think the Govt should raise my income tax because I am profoundly worried about the state of public services.

I do not understand those still attempting to defend Labour. Every day the gap between them and Reform, on immigration, trans and non-binary rights, disabled individuals etc shrinks. Human rights have to apply to everyone or they end up applying to no-one. #r4today

Ms Mahmood will propose new statutory rules that require judges to prioritise public interest and safety over migrants' claims that deportation would breach their family rights or put them at risk of “inhuman" treatment if they were returned to their home country.

Sickening rhetoric by Home Secretary. Denying access to human rights isn't "protecting the public". This is Labour further demonising those seeking asylum in language very reminiscent of the far right. Yes, some break the law, so should be prosecuted within the law. Removing rights is not the answer

Ah it's all ok. Solar flares can be a big problem, but mainly for satellites etc, and there's more of them at the moment due to where we are in the solar cycle. Rest easy and get a good gawp at the pretty lights.
