Lucky, a group of people stopped to help us because I couldn't get her up on my own. On the way back from the bank we had to cross that same street and there was another group of people there. An elderly lady had fallen in the same place and they were calling an ambulance. What are the odds?!

Mum fell on the street and almost got run over, it was a VERY nasty fall and she's black and blue but thankfully she didn't break anything (not even her glasses!)

Her cane got caught in one of the many (MANY!!!) hazardous cracks in the pavement that are everywhere in this shithole town.
