Stop playing these stupid patty-cake gotcha word-games with a man who’s made it clear that he has a deep, violent hatred of the American people and our way of life. He’s not going to make a deal. He’s not going to snap out of it and try to regain some continuity of character. This is who he is.

I was at a coffee shop that had a rotating menu across three screens, and in between cycles it would just be their logo with a background for a long time. Anyway, I walked out because they had a line out the door but had only staffed one barista for the day so there was no way.

I think my Threads account got shut down because I repeatedly said that Donald J. Trump hates Americans more than anyone else on the planet, and that that hatred comes from the fact that no one has ever really loved him or wanted him around. So, anyway, I’m saying it over here too because it’s true.

Your periodic reminder that water companies do not produce water, they produce plastic bottles, in a similar way as they enclosed & cordoned off the natural world from us, only to sell it back to us a piece at a time.

Over and over zombie movies warn us that the real monster is humans who’ve lost their humanity and over and over idiots watch zombie movies and take away the opposite lessons somehow.

Are we taking bets yet on how long it’ll be before ICE’s official jurisdiction is expanded beyond the 100-miles-from-the-border range and expanded to include disappearing citizens who are also political opposition?

My religion doesn’t have a name, but one of the core tenets of it is the belief that everyone alive is here for some Sacred Purpose. That’s the fundamental building block of a society. You cannot have a healthy People if they cannot each fulfill their purpose.

Do people actually believe the God character from the Bible really truly exists? Because I read the text and he’s pretty violent and unpredictable. Why would you try to get his attention with prayer? I think if I thought there was an omniscience that drowned the world I’d try to avoid his attention.

Watching a guy try to become King of America instead of going to therapy makes me wonder if monarchs are just always narcissists fueled by fear and self-loathing that drives them to try to climb to the highest point they can get to like they’re infected with that zombie-ant fungus?

What kind of back-asswards person cares more about the documents than the human being? The partially-formed zygote more than the fully-formed human being carrying it under duress? You have to upside-down in your brain to think these make sense.

All these behemoth pickups with front ends that make it so the driver can’t see what’s right in front of them were built that way to exploit a loophole in policy intended to reduce emissions. Something something climate change, something something not seeing what’s right in front of you.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, which I just learned from an ad for online therapy. Is it irony that so many chronically divorced X’er and Millenial men are spending it yelling at Rainbow merch online, or is it maybe time for an intervention with the uncles of the U.S.?

We really let grandpa take the country “for one last spin” with this administration. He’s SO OLD, and the things he thinks are problems, and the solutions to those problems, are all from the 1980’s. A military parade? He’s got a bucket list of things that will make him feel important.

SO sick of hearing the most miserable wretched lonely people preach about the glory individualism. These living monuments to social failure: Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate, and the like and their unhealed mental/emotional damage are just such a drain on our collective ability to build a better world.

Christianity, and Jesus in particular, have more power as poetic constructs within parables about human foibles. The insistence that he’s real replaces imagination with Faith, which is less potent.

“Deportation” is a legal process with oversight that keeps people safe and maintains their dignity. These are abductions. This is a kidnapping. I can’t believe EVERY generation of white people has to do the same freak-out about race. Also, borders are for justifying military spending, not safety.

We have to openly, loudly, and persistently dream the future together. Take time today to describe what the world looks like when peace is won by justice, not perpetually over the horizon of endless war. How will it feel? Work backwards from there to find the path forward from here.

I am negative amounts surprised that they added a journalist to the group-chat. Hegseth is about to oversee the most brutal period of unnecessary deaths/injury in US military history. The fact it was a journalist in a group-chat, and not a large-scale friendly-fire incident is a miracle.

We’re actually experiencing a spiritual crisis. We do not have principles as a society/nation.

I called about a busted traffic light, and they asked if there was anything else I needed. I said there was a decent sized pot hole on my street. This morning I was walking to an appointment and noticed that the pothole has been filled!!! They were SO fast! Amazing!
