I like Gaiden's ending, but I felt like the game itself was a bit crap. I love a Checklist game, but I'm not gonna be going back to it until a future full series playthrough again.

I'm looking back, and I'll keep the Judgement games - but all the Yakuza games since 0, they don't break into my top 5

Honestly, don't see it going to 30 with anywhere near the same audience now

Sorry, by "obvious choice", I mean more that I didn't even much like Frontios, but I had to pick something!

All the other 20 seasons had at least one banger - many had more like 3 favourite stories I had to pick from.

Season 21 was the only one where I didn't have an obvious choice. Frontios won a tossup against Resurrection of the Daleks.

I feel like my favourites are crazy - there's some classic stories that I'm looking at like "surely that's got to be up there" but they're simultaneously not the stories I enjoyed the most, or would soonest rewatch

Steam Yakuza series bundle. Kiwami 1 and 2, plus 3, 4, and 5 Remastered, and the Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, for £107. I own 5 of the 7 games in the bundle, and I get zero discount, so that would be £107 for Kiwami 1 and Yakuza 0 alone. Reports online also say that you don't get a second copy of any of the games you already own to then share with friends.

It's a horrible game to explain the mechanics of, which is why I don't think it'll ever be a spectator game.

Actually playing it, though, is a lot of fun - somehow makes an incredibly simple combat system feel unique across each character. There's not many buttons, but everyone feels different.

Yes! Very much had the same feeling. Only one of these non-From games I've since gone back to. If you didn't play it, the DLC also has some sick fights.

I streamed it to a couple of friends, too, who haven't watched any Classic Who before, and we all came away saying Troughton's the best
