Update with all doors done:

✅ The stereo is night and day in quality of mids and lows.

✅ Decibel test from yesterday shows that I’m back at a stock Range noise level at freeway speeds.

✅ All vibrations from door cards/speakers are gone.

It certainly seems quieter on the road and the stereo seems noticeably improved. I did the spare tire well and some small pieces of scaffolding in the rear wheel arches over the weekend. It’s improved loads from where we began!

2 full slabs inside each door skin! And lined the entire outer edge on the interior of the doors as well. Extra credit (not pictured) butyl tape washers over each clip point also. Every contact point between the door card and skin is insulated 💆‍♂️

I was prepared with trim removal tools, a mega set of LR plastic clips, and probably too much confidence! Only broke 2 - easy replacements, luckily
