I’m relatively new to it but loving it a lot more than road running!

Much needed! Tree roots everywhere. It was so fun, owls hooting and us all whooping as we ran. Probably looked like a right bunch of weirdos but it was awesome

A very breezy #parkrun this morning in Cheltenham. Definitely feel like I’m skirting a cold, but so lovely in the park today it was lovely to get out 🍂

School flashes up on my watch. I feel bad because I assumed this meant “homework was late, your child is in trouble” when what it actually meant was “great, your child did an outstanding job”. Must stop assuming the worst!

There’s a university campus at the end of my road and I have the same thing. They just appear and it always surprises me

6k in the bag this morning and knees all good. My plan is to build back up slowly with lots of strength and stretching. We’re now at the time of year where it’s not only dark when I set out, it’s still dark when I get home! #runchat #running 🦉 🌙 ✨

There’s a lot of berries this year everywhere! My mum would say it’s a sign that we’re in for a harsh winter, but I’ve never quite been convinced

A sub-30 #parkrun and only the slightest of twinges in my knee (on the walk home!). Very good. The start line had a lot of us wearing our finisher shirts from the Cheltenham Half last weekend (does that happen in every town the week after the big local race?). Lovely autumn vibes today🍁

The trouble with nonsense claims that x or y cause autism isn’t just that people believe them and avoid x or y (x or y being things that are generally good ideas like vaccines). It’s that these claims stigmatize autism as something bad and undesirable. There’s nothing wrong with autistic people!

We bought one of these last year for our teen’s room. It was super difficult to install and we had, it turns out; the wrong kind of ceiling - I ended up free cycling it
