Windows 11 was finally foisted upon me at work and my ass proposed "will any up to date and supported OS do in its stead?" and when told "yes" immediately dualbooted into Ubuntu Linux and have been happily plugging away all morning.

They never did. For all the blow and bluster, it was just to hijack the imaginations of millions. From the incredibly gullible to the willfully ignorant, they were sold a reality that never existed. Preyed upon by the worst storytellers ever to pick up a pen.

At this point I will not be surprised if you just start hosting a Toonami style intro complete with live ship fly-bys and you walking about the ship and going into rooms with live and interactive content on the display panels. Things that would have taken weeks to animate and render in the late 90s.
