I got Apple TV for Ted Lasso and Murderbot Diaries. Both were excellent. Is there anything else on Apple TV I need to watch before I kill the subscription?

On 3rd shift I would go to bed around 8AM and sleep until I was done sleeping. Usually this was around 4PM but it could be anywhere 2-6PM, and I'd have a couple leisurely hours to get ready for work. I miss not being tired all the time

I refuse to believe anyone has a fact- or aesthetic-based complaint against wind farms unless they are living right next to one. It's all based on politics, lies, fear, and hate. I literally live across the street from both the emergency warning siren and train tracks so I know it's not the noise.

That was the 3/5th compromise, not the electoral college.

The algorithms deliver marginalized people to bigots in order to generate rage-clicks. This constant stream of abuse will break some people possibly permanently. I think the solution is class-action lawsuits not just for damages but also for exposure

I went to a JC show and while the sings are funny individually they are also usually a bit sad. The cumulative weight of them all together was too depressing for me.

3/3 Although if there actually is something being covered up, Donald Trump is the only one who could generate enough loyalty for folks like Bondi and Patel to fall on their swords. They certainly aren't protecting Bill Clinton or Prince Andrew.

2/3 Democrats need to consistently highlight their lie and hypocrisy on Epstein without spreading the conspiracy to the Democratic base.

1/3 I think MAGAts took the small fire that was the Epstein case and convinced their followers it was a raging inferno for political reasons. And now they have to explain why they aren't trying to put out the pretend fire.

TBH, I don't see a "MAGA civil war" over the Epstein files. It's more an example of how long it takes to turn around a massive ship when it has momentum. They'll turn it around eventually and people will lose any sense of urgency, remembering whatever is convenient and discarding the rest.

We need a meme where Harvey Korman says MAGA is revolting and Mel Brookes responds "You're telling me, they stink on ice!"

The first three shows were excellent. The last three episodes were merely good. The resolution came too quickly and left me unsatisfied and I don't feel like Riri completed the work to qualify for a redemption arc. I think she's still technically a bad guy. 4/5 stars, would watch again
