People have come up with superstitions about human influence on, or control of, weather (or predictions of it) for as long as we’ve been human. It could be one of the first things we started telling ourselves stories about. 3/n

secret weather controlling weapons and “chemtrails” and cloud seeding are to blame for tornadoes other severe storms and most recently the catastrophic flash floods in the Texas Hill Country and other parts of the US. No wonder people are so open to believing things like that 2/n

I didn’t take the SAT but I took the ACT 2x & I got a better score the 2nd time. Does that mean I was smarter as a hungover 17yo hs dropout than I was as a 16yo hs student? Maybe. All I’m sure of is that I was both smarter & vastly more ignorant as a teenager than I am now in my 50s

My brain simply will not produce 6-letter words on demand. I can do 4 or 5 letters but I glitch out on 6. 8 is ok because there are many compound words of 4+4 but 6 or 7 or 9 letters or more just produce static. Brains are weird/fascinating/fun

It’s not even raining here but I’m not ready to get out of bed yet so I definitely do not have to pee *that* bad
