Well it looks like this time, the baby was *me*.

There's a word for uniting a country by getting them all agree to persecute a minority group.

I keep mine under control with generic loratadine, an OTC antihistamine, but not all antihistamines work. I've developed resistances to some (used to have scrips for Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec) from using them too long and benadryl has never helped.

Could be dermographia. I would have expected it to present before now (first appeared for me in my teens), but it might have been dormant. For most people the welts are only white and not itchy, but bad cases like mine it's like a constant allergic reaction to anything that brushes against my skin.

Can't speak for everyone, but a smile and a nod is enough of a "thanks" for me when holding doors for people. I don't expect a thank you letter, just acknowledgement.
