I’ve been increasingly drawn to the point of view that transness and disability are intrinsically linked. We have non-normative bodies. It’s socially acceptable to find us gross. We often depend on the support of a medical system that is at best suspicious of us.

I appreciate why the OP finds the pushback that trans people and our allies are giving to be poetic/invigorating, but as a Tired Tranny TM who suffered Pulse and then broke down when I finally made my pilgrimage to Stonewall years later just standing in the doorway, this all just leaves me numb. 🥲
