I’ve written to Wes Streeting, expressing my concern about Merton’s shockingly low breast cancer screening rates.

I've asked for support for our long-running campaign to boost access to these life-saving services for women in our community.

We're thrilled to hear that District Line signalling systems are being upgraded in 2026! 👇

Having worked with Paul in his ongoing campaign to address persistent disruption for residents, we're finally seeing progress towards long-overdue improvements.

Having repeatedly raised the unacceptable delays & cancellations on the District Line, TfL have now confirmed to me they’ve secured the money to replace the signalling system & Network Rail interface in 2026.

Wonderful news, but I’ll reserve final judgment until it happens.

Pleased to join colleagues supporting Al Pinkerton's Bill, calling for a UK-EU Customs Union.

It’s critical we fix our broken trade relationship with Europe & cut the mountains of red tape ushered in by the Conservatives’ botched deal.

It was fantastic to chat to pupils at Donhead Prep School about how they’ve been getting involved with UK Parliament Week.

Thoroughly enjoyed answering their questions & the impromptu debate about the price of plastic bags!

At last night’s council meeting Merton Labour repeated the claim they "cleaned every street every week".

But by "cleaned" they don't mean "swept" - and they won't say how often pavements and roads are swept.

Tonight, we’re asking Merton Labour their thoughts on St George's and Union flags being hung on public property across the borough.

There is currently no Women's Health Hub serving any Primary Care Network in Merton.

Tonight, we’re asking Merton Labour when women in our area will have the same access to specialist women’s health services as they do in other boroughs.

Merton is the only borough in South West London without a Breast Cancer Screening Centre.

Tonight we’re asking Merton Labour what progress has been made on this delivering this, using funding allocated 3 years ago.

It’s shocking that uptake for free NHS Health Checks in Merton is barely half the London average.

Councils have a responsibility for residents’ uptake.

Tonight, we’re asking Merton Labour how this rate can be improved.

Merton doesn’t have a Women’s Health Strategy.

Merton’s Local Health & Care Plan 2022–24 doesn’t mention women at all.

Tonight, we’re asking Merton Labour & Merton Tories to back our plan to make women’s health a priority.

Here’s the AELTC’s letter justifying, and my response refuting, their attempt to retrospectively change the law in their favour, by removing protection from public trusts of land like Wimbledon Park.

I’m disappointed by their tactics but remain committed to finding a solution.

As Paul says, given what the Tories have said locally, it's deeply concerning that they tried to conspire with AELTC to re-write the law in their favour.

We will keep backing Paul in his fight to find a sensible compromise for the community.

Many thanks to the GDST for inviting me to the launch of their report on “Designing the Future of Girls’ Education”.

My 4 daughters all benefitted from attending single sex senior schools & it was lovely to meet the Head of Wimbledon High School, where one of them was a pupil.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to address politics students at Ewell Castle, my former school.

I loved going down memory lane & answering the engaging questions of current students.
