I picked out the most high femme, elegant and/or cute clothing I could find that flattered my body, and dabbled with makeup, but put it away for a long time because I was not immediately good at it.

My experience transitioning was that early on I was very, very concerned with how I appeared, especially my body shape my feminization from HRT

(The little changes started pretty quickly for me and are far more developed and also still developing after four and a half years on HRT).

Me 6 months in looking very thin with short hair and not much curves

Me nearly 6 years in with tons of curves, cleavage, and long hair

I get a lot of questions from trans gals early on in their HRT journey worrying about not seeing results and I truly cannot stress enough that it is a marathon, not a sprint.

This is me like 6 months in, vs. me nearly 6 YEARS in.

You'll get there! Just let it cook.

I watched basically every artist I knew go from thriving to desperate anxiety as the algorithm systematically drove them bonkers.

Everyone thought it was something they did, that they sucked now, or that everyone disliked their things - they weren't and they didn't.

They just weren't being seen.
