YouTube just offered a cover that was a familiar tune in the style of the 1950s and I realised it would be too much effort to work out whether it was AI slop or a labour of love so I didn't bother listening. Quite genuinely AI has ruined perfectly my enjoyment of perfectly good art.

Absolutely fair!

Abandoned cinemas, office buildings, bits of woodland - there's always a group who see the potential and make it awesome. Often for investors to suddenly take an interest again and fuck it all up for everyone.

I got unexpectedly giddy watching the trailer for this - Bristol seems to have a lot of people who think "this would be a cool thing to do" and then they go out and do the thing and it does in fact turn out to be really cool.

I'm always a little worried when someone says a comic is difficult to read in a vacuum. Why are they trying to read comics in a vacuum? Get out of the vacuum before you die. This is not time to catch up on Batman.

I'm still thinking about this game

Roar, well, it's infamous. And a terrible movie, but felt like a rite of passage watching it. The whole tone of it is like a bunch of actors are being forced to run lines whilst walking through an unmarked minefield. Except the mines are lions and tigers.

Raw is such a great film, and the biggest source of horror for me was the school itself.

Great double-bill last night at the @cubecinema.com - Raw (2016) followed by Roar (1981). Both of them provoking a lot of wincing from the audience
