Eviction moratorium and relief payments would be the easiest shit to do if lawmakers stopped listening to the soulless landlords whining in their ears.

My novella in this anthology is about friends who have fallen out of touch getting together for one last horribly fucked-up birding trip. Enjoy it for only 99 cents!

I'm so stoked about the cover in the works for my collection Lonesome and Festering. It takes visual inspiration from "No Such Thing As A Lonely Sardine," a story in the book that involves dozens of men crammed into a small food pantry, crushed to death but lonely no more.

The cover of The Writhing, Verdant End, featuring an illustration of a skeleton holding red-tinted binoculars in the background while ghoulish animals writhe in the foreground.

I can’t stop reading really good books this year! Which book is gonna be the stinker that ends this glorious run? Or, more optimistically, which book is gonna be the all-timer that takes this run to new incredible heights?

The same day DHS announced the surge would end in Minnesota, ICE activity increased in small towns The less densely populated areas outside the Twin Cities make it harder for protesters and observers to organize.

There is no drawdown. There is no retreat. ICE is just redistributing their assets to better avoid accountability.

A very good post about why responding to rejections sucks and is deeply annoying.

Please don't respond to Cursed Morsels rejections, y'all. I don't want to hear it!

This really resonates with me, in part because my insecurity come from attempting to represent aspects of queerness that don't reflect direct personal experience. Like, you mentioned partying, and a central piece of this book is a huge queer rager--something I probably wouldn't be at IRL.

I was talking with @horrorsong.blog and @okokno.bsky.social yesterday about how I keep feeling "not queer enough" to write the book I'm working on, and I think it's time to kill that part of my brain. Like, girl, I'm literally queer and pretty much all my friends are queer! Of course I'm qualified!

Text reads: Preorder today. https://www.cursedmorselspress.com
A fraternity massacre births rewritten history, a supernatural entity, and a survivor obsessed with both. Two bog bodies ponder their star-crossed love. A chronically ill house consumes its unwilling, equally unwell tenant. A housewife discovers she's made of several million ticksβ€”but only after they leak from her new nipple piercings.

The stories in Gore Poetics explore intimacy and annihilation through visceral, wet prose. Samir Sirk MoratΓ³ makes a name for themself as a master of strange, erotic, and transgressive horror in this stunning debut collection.

Image depicts the cover of Gore Poetics, which is an illustration of glistening intestines with two black pearls at the center.

I'm so sick of "progressive" "leftist" people making fun of how people on the far right look.

You know what? Some (maybe LOTS) of people who align with your beliefs look like shit. Some of us didn't get to come out before we got old. Didn't have the money for surgery, wardrobe, etc. And are fat.
