One year ago, NW Iowa had historical flooding. I consider myself lucky. My town flooded. Not nearly as bad as Spencer, Rock Valley, and so many more. Today, NW Iowa is still rebuilding. Staying strong and persevering. Below are photos I took as soon as it flooded. Heartbreaking. #iawx #wxbluesky

Chasing at home base on Monday. The SPC is expecting a tornado outbreak with strong to intense tornadoes likely! Day 3 moderate is insane to me! Appreciate all the work SPC does! #iawx

The Storm Prediction Center absolutely NAILED it today. So thankful for them and the NWS offices in the areas that spent countless hours sending out warnings. No doubt lives were saved today. #severeweather #wxbluesky

April 2nd, 2025 for the history books. Many long track, violent tornadoes have made their way across the south. My heart is broken for those affected. The scary thing, the same area is to be affected for the next 3-4 days and I’m terrified for who will be affected. #arwx #wxbluesky #severeweather

The 2025 AMS conference had concluded! One of my favorite moments was the Hurricane Katrina tour! The most shocking part to me was a house that remained untouched after the hurricane. If you look closely, you can see a newspaper from August 28th, 2005 labeled “Katrina Takes Aim.” #weather #AMS2025
