This dataset may be of particular interest to researchers in sociolinguistics, pragmatics, corpus linguistics, conversational analysis and contrastive analysis (Fr-AmE).
The corpus contains 185 conversations, 8 minutes long each:
- 88 among Americain participants
- 97 between French participants.

Bonjour! J'ai une question pour la communauté de phono ou sociolinguistique. Comment appelleriez-vous le son produit par la bouche par les français pour exprimer "dommage pour vous". Cela ressemble à bruit de "bisou" mais plus dental ou palato-dental... voyez-vous de quel son je parle?
