But how the regime came to be in power in that book keeps me awake at night because it is playing out in very intricate detail in our real lives right now.

I LOVE one of the main FMC, Orka. She’s truly a badass. But other than her, there’s a lot of action and you get to meet some very strong and dynamic characters. The only thing is I feel that one of the three main characters isn’t written as in depth as the two others, but maybe that’s just me.
