An important point here about cycling by people with disabilities. I've been working on an effort to remove "dismount and walk" requirements at road crossings -- they're incredibly ableist in approach, and there's no evidence that they improve safety.

I met Karina in 2015. I wanted to know who she was and what she stood for before I gave her my vote. Before I knew it we were running all over Burlington knocking on doors together. Let me tell you, she's the real deal and she's in this for all the right reasons. Don't underestimate her. Go Karina!
