Movie theater at South Philly's Riverview Plaza to reopen in 2026 with a new IMAX screen Apple Cinemas plans to renovate the former Regal multiplex on Columbus Boulevard. It will have the only IMAX screen in the city.

IMAX with laser projector coming to the renovated Riverview next year from Apple Cinemas (not that Apple). Wish it was getting a 70mm projector but this is better than nothing.
