The inclination to focus on short term Dem failures rather than Right's long game successes is bad! This might be a long shot but: I'm looking to speak with architects/developers who have worked on affordable housing projects that required (or got feedback to include) some type of 'historic complement' aesthetic—massing, materials, etc—for a story. Recommendations appreciated! thanks!

In Utah, Trump’s Vision for Homelessness Begins to Take Shape

Under Trump, the draconian future of homelessness policy is coming into focus: mass internment. Utah is building a 16-acre site to detain up to 1,300 homeless people inside locked "accountability centers." This is profoundly alarming.

Their diminishing of Mamdani is also fascinating. That he's so good at capturing attention means its not him but NYC, which equals being irrelevant anywhere else. I actually think Mamdani's man on the streets videos are pretty populist in a formal sense of the term. And his iconography too.
