You don't care about victims of abuse. Feel free to go and shout at someone else.

I'm not interested in debating anything with someone who doesn't care about all victims. You're boring and doing absolutely nothing to help.

I'm sure that if we weaken human rights, the people campaigning for it can be trusted not to abuse broad swathes of people just because they don't like them.

Bolton, Glasgow, Bristol. Where is your concern?

I'm passing nothing by on the other side. You're only obsessed by cases which conform to your racist world view.

Half a million children suffer sexual abuse every year. You don't care about the vast majority.

I'm not interested in your opinions.

This is why, when someone says "Never Again", we all think of that time a Black actor was cast in a traditionally White role.

It really is hard to remember a more divisive time in history than when Woke people suddenly decided prejudice was unacceptable.

Lest we Forget (Roseanne being cancelled).

I'm not interested in racially-motivated opportunism that is divisive and weaponises victims and fear of different cultures.

I care about all victims. The vast majority of abuse isn't committed by gangs of whatever ethnicity. It's no less harmful, and all must be seen and causes - cultural, social, psychological - acknowledged.

I also care about the vast majority of British Pakistanis who are law-abiding, decent people.

Starmer "looks like a robot", says the man who sounds like one, as monotonously repeats the same empty slogans until he sounds bored of himself.

The Musk AI CSAM generator platform? The one where its denizens were generating sexualised images of a dead woman? That one?

Yeah, they really give a fuck about violence against women and girls.

Lowe is morally bankrupt. Musk is a racist who enabled USAID to gutted, causing 1000s of deaths.

Pfft.

The 4m seems to be the rest of the people in those households, where English (or Welsh) isn't the main language. But those people are reported as proficient in English. So it is still a lie.

As best I can tell, it is arrived at by adding up the people aged over 3 years from households where English (or Welsh) isn't the main language, recorded as can't speak English (or Welsh) "well" or "at all" in the Census. About 1m out of 5m.

It ignores many of the reasons *why*, like disability.

"...trying to the down Trump together..." is the operative phrase in trying to understand his recent outrage. If it was really about sex abuse, he'd have deleted his account and stopped stanning a long time ago.

French rape survivor Gisèle Pelicot: I need to have answers In an extensive interview with Newsnight, the woman at the heart of France's biggest rape trial speaks about betrayal, healing and choosing the right path.

Gisèle Pelicot has depths of strength and bravery utterly beyond the comprehension of people systematically giving cover to abusers. She is a survivor of unthinkable horrors who has chosen to change the world so that there are fewer future victims. A real hero.

No, but he and his ilk spent a long time in the wilderness, and their nonsense is finding its way back into the mouths of politicians.

Cycles of lobbyists, mouthpieces, and politicians spouting this nonsense is back on the rise. After a couple decades of net zero being politically uncontroversial.

Tethered caps: The new normal Tethered caps not only help prevent littering – they deliver benefits to consumers and producers alike. Learn more about how we developed our solutions.

To give an example that's to hand: Tetra Pak reckon 7-55% less plastic is used for a tethered closure.

Savings vary across container and cap types. About 600 billion plastic bottles are produced annually.

Best not to use plastic bottles, but any reduction is good.

It also takes less plastic to produce a tethered lid.

For example, Tetra Pak reckon 7-55% less plastic, depending on design:

In part. It takes less plastic to manufacture a tethered top. As part of simplified recycling systems in the EU under SUPD, it also improves recyclability.

Caps and lids were upwards of 10% of beach litter, according an EU study. That's consistent with a body of evidence on lids.

I think referring to the Irish and "Scotch" as "Anglo" cultures is probably at least as insulting.

It is the prosecution that sets out how they intend to deal with bail, and the court that decides.

Sorry, yes, of course. I typed in haste and made a mistake. Previous convictions relating to PA weren't Terrorism offences.

But, Government equally isn't involved in remand decisions for those charged. It is a good thing, generally, that Government doesn't interfere with decisions of the courts.

Global coordination is vital to limit the effects of climate change as rapidly as possible.

Given the progress China is making on emissions, the US and any country following its lead, risks being left behind. Costs of climate response and emissions reduction/mitigation only get higher if delayed.

Government doesn't interfere with sentences in that way. Which is generally a good thing. Separation of powers is why the judiciary can rule on this, and find it unlawful if need be.

"Anglo-derived culture", like Irish and "Scotch"! This man has clearly studied the history and cultures of the British Isles.

They conflate two populations; those who don't speak English "at all", and those who don't speak it "well". Roughly 1m out of 5m people over 3 years old from households where English or Welsh isn't the main language.

They ignore the manifold reasons for that, including disability.

Securing platform chemical production in the UK is a sensible intervention. The bigger question is how we create sustainable future industries, so that the public doesn't have to regularly bail out businesses owned by extremely wealthy people.

His basic error is to treat quote marks around "free speech culture" as if they are his, not yours. He is reading "free speech culture" literally; as a society that values free speech.

He is very close to understanding when he claims the definition you use is a caricature.

Well, yes. But, whose?

Marc learned the link between qualifications and domain expertise, and also that people who tend lawns hold and express sophisticated ideas. It made him sad and flaccid. How humiliating and nazifying.

My cleaner once told me I was wrong about small business tax incentives. I almost annexed Austria.

He's been consistent over decades, if not coherent to those of us looking in. The most parsimonious explanation, to me, is that he is sincere.

Does it also serve to consolidate power? Yes. History is replete with believers ignoring the contradictions of their faith and exploiting the faithful.
