That’s a fair point and many do, as I once did.

I did it until I was spending more time parenting other people’s teenagers than I was my own.

So many parents are incapable of looking after kids and many of them really need looking after themselves.

You get to the point where something has to give

In year 1 they make all the mistakes.

Fewer in year 2, fewer again in year 3 and by the end of year 4 they know what they are doing.

Once you’ve a few years in the bank it’s way easier simply due to having the experience.
