One thing to mention, some of your older games on Steam can't be bought from Germany as they lack an age rating (due to some stupid law, any game without one is auto-blocked here), so nobody can buy Alien Splatter Redux, the original Jet Runner and Fist Slash

I usually cycle through my various interests, and when I feel a burnout coming on, I switch to doing something else, so I know I will eventually get back

Highly recommend checking this out. Absolutely crushes it with the pixel art, and the gameplay seems to be quashing all the complaints I heard about their previous MV title (which, for the record, I really liked).

Not every game is for everyone and it's all subjective. I personally am glad for games that strike a chord very well with specific players rather than always trying broadly appeal to everyone. Means I won't be able to get into some, but the tradeoff is I'll be able to really get into certain others.

It wasn't deep. It didn't have much to say. But Xiao Xiao inspired millions to try Flash animation for themselves.

I want to read that too, the only gaming I remember in East Germany before the fall of the wall were some Arcade machines on Rügen that had a couple of games, including a Nu Pogodi Pac-Man clone, and the LCD games, one with egg catching, also with the Nu Pogodi guys
