My hope at this point is that other people still have hope and I'll support them. But I just cannot hang my own hopes on something happening that he's slithered out of numerous times already. My hope is he isn't able to become a forever dictator like Putin and Kim Jong-Un.

I'll be honest, I wanna care about the Epstein list more - to an extent I do, I think everyone on it regardless of status needs to behind bars until they're dust - but not a single thing has changed the minds of Trump's supporters. Not the Mueller reports, not impeachments, not felony charges, nada.

I have anxiety on top of the horrors, and a thought that sometimes constricts my chest is that if something happens and I die today, I'll have died in the middle of the horrors without seeing the other side.

I desperately hope I get to see the other side.

Brushed Kalypso so much over the last few days bc I need the vet to know she's well cared for, spoiled even, and not a gremlin who won't let me get the fur clumps off her butt and now there's so much free floating cat hair all around and on me.

And to be fair, I was expecting a bit of a change (it's part of why I didn't want to do HRT, I like my voice most days), I just wasn't expecting it to come so soon

I've noticed a bit of a vocal change singing too. I didn't go for the high notes in Into the Unknown in the car. I'll be a little bummed if I can't hit them anymore, but getting back from a walk not feeling like my very cells were dying is so far worth the trade off.

Is my voice deepening slightly on this very low dose of T, or are my balancing hormones helping me sleep better so I'm rested and my voice is relaxed into my natural register?

The world may never know (it's almost definitely the latter, I think it's actually my "sleepy" voice).

That's my usual stance, but I have a new PCP and we're trying to fix some stuff which is leaving me feeling very bleh for days. I could've taken today off but I wouldn't have felt better and would've just had more work tomorrow. I'm hoping things will start to rebalance and get better soon, though 🤞🏻

Y'all I figured out how to fix my stationary bike. I am both very dumb and very smart. The video the company has for changing belts is for a different model so I didn't realize I needed one of them to go under a wheely thing and ugh, I'm so happy. Now to put it all back together again.

For the vast majority of my friends and people I have been drawn to on the internet, this is not news. It's not even news to me. It's just real frustrating.

Time to go pester a cat.

Yet when I try to get help it's the insurance that gets to say nah? 😤

And the weight loss shot thing just baffled me. I'm really lucky to have picked a PCP off vibes alone and it's been working out. Every other doctor has been like "we won't even test you for anything until you lose weight" or "that symptom you have is because you're fat."

It's "NoT mEdIcAlLy NeCeSsArY" technically nothing I'm on is staving off death. I could get by without my ADHD meds, life will just be even harder. Same with why I take bc, same with the steroid cream I picked up today.

But because the right has manufactured a whole-ass moral panic I can't get meds

I figured it'll need to go through hoops, but being told by the pharmacy that it's going through hoops just really ground my gears.

It's a minor inconvenience for me, but there are people who depend on this stuff. Not just this but anything they've been prescribed by their healthcare team.

I've also been prescribed T. I happen to be nonbinary, but I gave it a lot of thought and I'm not interested in HRT. My flavor of enby is "my corporeal form doesn't define me." But I got tested and my natural T is nonexistent which could be causing issues. Hence the Rx.

My PCP prescribed me one of the weight loss shots, which my insurance declined because "we don't approve this for weight loss only." To which my PCP said, "What the heck, it's only for weight loss."

Not a big deal, I begrudgingly interested because I'm aging and weight loss is harder.

I hated it before it started happening to me but now that it is happening to me I'm extra mad about it.

Insurance shouldn't get to decide if you get medications. If it's prescribed by a professional, it is medically necessary! I don't care about the reason, I'm not involved in that person's care!

I predict that a few of us will be making the “financial decision” to learn everything we can about the business interests of CBS, Paramount and Skydance in order to do everything we can to make sure that not a single dollar of ours goes to them ever again.
