That's disheartening. It's so easy to compost and separate waste. I must admit I used to throw everything in the one bin. My parents always had an old bathtub in the garage with worms that ate almost everything. Free garden soil! My son now has their colony that's been going strong for decades.

I'm amazed at the amount of organic compost I create every week. The garbage cart is practically empty on garbage day now.

I pass a man on my daily walks I call the Birdman. His pockets are filled with wild bird seed. He stops every now and then, pours some seed on the ground and continues on. It's amazing to see all the crows, magpies, ducks and geese who follow him.

Just had my 45th HS reunion. My HS boyfriend was there and says one of his favourite things about me was that I had a stereo system that could record vinyl LP's onto a blank 8 track tape 🤣

I'm old! This 1971 album was the start of recording collection. I remember 45's were $1.08 ( tax included) The record store had them on pegs in their Top 10 positions and I'd get one a week with my allowance. This album cost me the $5 I got for Christmas from my Gramdma 💕

Made this lasagna soup today. It's easy, delicious and I don't think I'll make regular lasagna again!
I added 1 tsp of Italian seasoning,used only 5 cups chicken broth, subbed farfelle bow tie pasta for the lasagna and added 1/2 cup heavy cream (leftover from Thanksgiving) at the end.
Yummy!

Did a bluesky search for Lasagna soup and found your posted recipe. Just made this today. It is amazing! Used only 5 cups of chicken stock ( as i wanted a thicker soup), added 1 tsp of Italian seasoning and used farfelle bow tie pasta in place of Lasagna noodles.
