It's such a good watch. Ben Kingsley really got a chance to shine. I have never really cared for his character, but it turns out all he needed was good material.

Growing up in Alaska and living in the south now, I'm going to be SO ANNOYING this weekend.

This was my experience with the movie as well. Even as a fan of DC and James Gunn, this just didn't work for me. The humor mostly fell flat for me so that might be a big reason why.

Taking his argument in good faith, I know some mid-level and senior engineers purely in it for the bag. Technically proficient but don't contribute in meetings and can barely be bothered to say good morning or volunteer for anything unless directly prompted. It drives me nuts.
