Also: Nintendo's brand has always been (IMO) the "family" console. FOH asking a family to fork up $500 for a new system and Mario Kart for the kids lmfao. It makes Nintendo weirdly inaccessible which, to me, was always one of their biggest advantages.

For clarification: I'm well aware that Xbox/PS consoles go for $500+ these days. Just feels very wrong for Nintendo to be charging just as much as those guys now, especially for a sequel console. If it was something totally new, maybe I could swallow the price tag.
