That robot is not Showing Intelligence. No matter how many things you ask it to help you with, it doesn't "think". Telling the robot "Boy aren't you smart." is a very human behavior here.

Imagine a gigantic library. There is a robot at the counter. It is told "When asked a question, use this giant card catalog of indexed information to find what they need."

You ask it "I need to find out about growing marigolds."

The robot goes and returns with a book from the gardening section.

I think one of the reasons so many people think AI is AMAZING an The next best thing, is that it really doesn't need a LOT to make someone think there is intelligence there.

I'm going to chapter by chapter give the book a final read through. And then formatting for pub.

What is strange, is that in these last days of editing, I have spent MOST of my time looking up Roman Citizen Life...

I -NEED- a book cover. I can describe what I envision. But I flat out refuse to even make sketches in AI to show to a real artist. I can describe the cover in more than sufficient detail that a child could draw it, so any artist would never need "AI Suggested Ideas"

The ORIGINAL edition, which was a NaNoWriMo in 2005, was 50,000 words across 14 chapters.

Currently, it is 120k words across 42 chapters. (well, prologue + 41 Chapters)

And it is just about ready for "format into book and publish."
