My first car was a D reg Renault 5TL. I remember being over the moon at having FIVE gears in a little car. This was offset by the stereo having only AM and LW so I could only listen to Atlantic 252, which was great, but each electricity pylon would cause loss of signal every 30 secs. Great times!!!

Google did the most blatant version of this with their pixel 4a "upgrade" where they cited battery issues on a perfectly usable phone. Forced an upgrade through which destroyed the battery life from over a day to 2 hrs. Knew what they'd one and offered small comp towards "new" pixel. Shocking
