I was lucky enough to see him perform at the 50th Anniversary Bob Marley tribute tour in ‘95.
Jimmy came on & practically tore the roof off Wembley Arena. Lucky he didn’t succeed as you’d have seen the cloud of ganja smoke from space!

My most cherished waterborne memories are sitting out the back of the surf.

I seem to recall the Corporation has historically always been seeped in political influence, with several DGs & many Chairman coming from Government roles when it formed in the 1920s and onwards.

The irony that it is now being hoisted by its own petard from the political side it has long kindled.

Think I’m just about ready to tune out of digital society.
This place just about harbours a semblance of normality but as for the rest of it, awash with a growing tsunami of faux-history AI slop projected by knuckle-dragging bigots.

One of those rare movies that just stays with you from the first view to your last.

Saw them with Ozrics a few years ago and honestly I’ve not been pinned to my seat by a sound like it.
Cheb Nettles driving like a man possessed. A wonderful and complex sound.
Seeing Ozric Tentacles again next month but sad to miss Gong. Glad you enjoyed it.

I’m always drawn to dates in history.
13 June 1944, one Grandfather rescuing downed Mossie pilots from the North Sea. The other embroiled in Jungle Warfare on a push to Ukhrul.

The odds of me being born exactly 30 years later were looking slim.
We are all made from mathematical miracles!

Very proud that my son got to experience the mastering studio I built before he returned for his 4th year degree in music production.

Designed by acoustic engineer Thomas Jouanjean, the anechoic room is built on springs with 1.5m thick walls above a river in an old church. A challenge in every way.

This week marked 5 years since we said goodbye to a dear friend taken suddenly by cancer. The indignity of a select few standing apart at his funeral unable to naturally console one another makes me incandescent with rage.
My hate for that entire cabinet knows no bounds.
