We are almost back to sanity in schools, thanks to JK, Maya and the Darlo nurses
Rod Liddle

At the height of the madness, from which I think we are now in merciful and terminal retreat, a Scottish schoolboy announced that he identified as a wolf and was apparently indulged in this fantasy by his teachers. There was a confusion here β€” a kind of ideologyversus-reality disconnect, as so often happens with lifestyle-left intersectional idiocies.

If the teachers had truly believed the child was a wolf he would have been separated from the rest of the pupils by extremely robust metal fencing and thrown chunks of raw bison every few hours. Of course the school did not do that, meaning that in truth, and contrary to the approved narrative, it did not really think he was a wolf.

At the same time reports surfaced of other British schools where kids were identifying as a multitude of creatures, real and imagined, such as cats, horses, dinosaurs and dragons. One assumes that in each case the schools responded similarly, by pretending to respect these expressions of the fictional condition β€œspecies dysphoria” but in reality not believing it for a minute. Reminder that Rob Liddle said he couldn't be a teacher because he would try to rape the kids

Every single person involved in this hate campaign and everyone who has supported them - Anas Sarwar, for example - needs to be run out of public life the way they've run Dr Upton out the NHS. Being trans isn't a risk factor for people around you; this obsessive hate absolutely is.

Notably there aren't any houses in this shot. It's a motorway underpass heading into the industrial estate on which Reform have set up their HQ. The number of voters who could hear this IRL is probably close to zero. So...do they think it's a good visual for social, or what?

You may laugh, but the Macbeths are a much better role model for a marriage than Romeo and Juliet. They discuss their problems (killing the king of Scotland), share their hobbies (killing the king of Scotland), and resolve their conflicts (by killing the king of Scotland).

Yep, but the full pay is the kicker, I guess. Better her be on full pay doing something (which was increasingly not a lot tbh) than getting better (which may or may not have happened tbh) in ye olde capitalism.

None of us had kept them abreast of how she had been since leaving, and none of us wanted to be the one to face the inevitable indifference.

Anyway, life can be short. If you're not happy change something etc. And don't expect your employer to give a shit (unless you are self-employed).

Except today, I have learned that you can, you just have to pay them in full to do so.

So there's that.

Amongst other things to try and absolve themselves from any responsibility, they reiterated a point that if the person, however ill, insists they are well enough to work you cannot legally compel them to stay home.

A recent former colleague died last Thursday. We let HR tell our Boss because they had shown no interest in her wellbeing since she left (and she was really not well).

Saw them today for the first time and opened a conversation with them about the situation.
