Anybody know of anyone renting out a room in NYC (preferably Brooklyn)? My max is $900.

Trying to come up with cities to move to as a freelance comic book editor. I dont want to stay in CT, but NYC cost of living is out of control. I was thinking Philly, but is there a strong publishing community there? Thoughts?

Is there an exclusively comic books/graphic novels app? There's so much I want to read, but money is, in fact, an object.

Today I turned down an editorial client for the 1st time, after submitting two different bids (one hourly, one flat fee) & doing a sample edit on about 20 pages.

Client and I just didn't have a meeting of the minds about project or process.

So I have room in my calendar for new editing projects!

I'm reading Sayaka Murata's LIFE CEREMONY, & she's making cannibalism seem...quite ordinary &, dare I say, beautiful. I have to finish the book because I have a feeling it's going to take a turn, especially since the protagonist of EARTHLINGS makes an appearance & shes painted in a very dif light

Twitter is a powder keg of conflict. Just too much.

So I tried melatonin last night. Though I still woke up a couple of time, I was able to fall back to sleep, and I feel super well rested. Im more alert and my body doesnt feel like lead. Still gonna get a sleeping test in January, but I'm glad Ive found a way to get some sleep!

I'm seeing a few blank posts on my timeline. Is this a glitch?

I need a full-time day job. I've been applying for publishing gigs because this job market is not friendly towards anyone, much less people trying to jump into a different industry, but, honestly, i just need something that i can manage while still being able to edit. & that pays decently.any ideas?

A section linked to proofreader marks is a must. Crossbar eval. Name and location lists. Basic panel and balloon common mistakes. Hmm. This might be a little too ambitious.
