Decapitating babies. Murdering journalists & medics. Raping people to death. Bombing hospitals. Starving 2m people. Blowing up universities. Burning people alive. Its been clear throughout that the UK govt has no line.
This is what it comes down to in terms of how we actually function in society: not βwhat is a woman?β, but βhow do you know Iβm a woman?β Nobody has ever asked to inspect my gametes or chromosomes. Presentation is literally all anyone is going on.

Everything Starmer does makes me feel sick & outraged. This is just another example of his total lack of principle, ethics, and humanity. It disgusts me.

23.01.2025 13:40 β π 597 π 248 π¬ 31 π 13The violence against Palestinians in the West Bank is a reminder that genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid have not ended.
We will never stop opposing the occupation of Palestine because we believe in a simple and moral truth: every human being deserves to live in freedom.
I just don't think we'll agree on this, but it's been an interesting interaction.

18.01.2025 23:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They've made choices and I think they're the wrong ones. Why hit the most vulnerable when there are immensely rich people who can bear the brunt? Why allow companies to continue to pump sewage into our water & take bonuses which we pay for?
18.01.2025 22:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It depends whether we think more privatisation will address the 'lobotomising' of the NHS, or pandering to racists' "legitimate concerns" will stop the rise of Reform. Is there anything Labour has done to materially improve people's lives? It's what most people wanted when they voted Labour.
18.01.2025 00:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Could've said the same about Labour before last election - no values, no policies, no plans - it was their electoral strategy & it worked, so here we are now.

14.01.2025 17:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No surprise. They're all ghouls who don't have any time for the needs of the people. It'll be their downfall and ours, but they will find themselves new high paying jobs while we rot.
13.01.2025 23:54 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why does "a proper conversation" always involve a large number of people being told to shut up?
13.01.2025 22:38 β π 55 π 14 π¬ 6 π 1Labour made it pretty clear it didn't want any left winger or progressive involved in their party. They hate us and then expect us to defend their cruel choices. Not that we should ever pay any attention to Nick Cohen's ramblings.
13.01.2025 23:14 β π 19 π 3 π¬ 1 π 0The only way the right can win state power is to acknowledge the deep suffering that has been created by decades of rising inequality, and blame this suffering on some βotherβ - migrants, criminals, deviants etc.
That othering is, of course, the prerequisite for fascism.
If you give more contracts to the private sector, staff get pulled away from the NHS to the private sector.
Private capacity grows, NHS capacity shrinks.
It's not temporarily reliving the NHS - it's killing it off.
The private sector receives 20% of NHS funds for helping 10% of patients.
