I have voted in person exactly once in my life (in 2004, before Washington switched over to vote by mail). It was something I'm glad I've done but I very much prefer voting by mail

I am fucking rolling my eyes at this NYCer who seems to think theirs is the only city in the world where you can walk to your polling place.
