Policing people's genitals is literally impossible to do unless you're a massive pervert (as all transphobes seem to be)

Make your views heard, support your trans friends and support the poor staff who'd have to wade through limitless bureaucracy of implementing insane transphobic guidelines

Crazy article. Flight numbers must come down. Flying is a privilege of the few causing negative externalities now around the world. Where’s that in the story? I don’t care what a CEO has to say about it

NEW | Surging wind and solar power helped make electricity in Spain CHEAPER than in most European countries.

πŸ“ˆ As wind and solar grows…
πŸ“‰ …The influence of costly fossil fuels on the electricity price shrinks

Keir Starmer's aides are reportedly telling him not to go to the COP30 climate conference, because Reform would attack him for it.
Yes, they might.
And he should wear it as a badge of honour.
Standing up for humanity, for science and a habitable planet.
Where's the hazard in that?

Just can’t fathom making the harrowing life threatening journey across the Channel in search of hope and safety only to be treated like this. Such a shameful time for the UK

Two countries dealing in black lives because small-minded white people with small hearts who need to get a genuine life have dressed up in white and red flags, got drunk and urinated all over the pavements of London and shouted obcenities based on lies.

Guest post: How the role of carbon storage has been hugely overestimated - Carbon Brief Removing carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere is widely expected to play a key role in meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement.

3/ Another example:

Oh dear we're going to overshoot, but don't worry we don't need to urgently stop burning fossil fuels we can... use CCS to store carbon underground.

Scientists: We've taken another look & the prudent storage capacity is "an order of magnitude less than commonly-cited figures"

@telegraphnews.bsky.social hi I absolutely despise your advert in Birkenhead that reads as extremely net zero sceptic. In Birkenhead we have green councillors so this is not the place for your fossil fuel loving nonsense please remove

To be clear, the centre ground on net zero is that the public are broadly supportive - even if there is some conditionality to that support.

The idea that net zero is a source of significant electoral discomfort for Labour is a zombie political fact.
