I have fond memories of my mom desperately trying to keep my younger sister awake until at least after 7 because in her brain “sun set 2+ hours ago” = bedtime and she’d be trying to go to sleep at like 5pm (I didn’t sleep as a child and now happily work overnight but I benefited from the bribery).

To be fair, co-washing is very much a thing among those of us with thick, dry, textured hair — I use actual shampoo about twice a month and co-wash 1-2 times a week (I don’t get my hair wet daily) but if greasy hair is the concern yeah, you’re gonna need shampoo!

I realized that I still had my work phone in my pocket when I pulled into my garage this morning, I damn near shut the door to let the car run thinking about how I was going to have to drive back and trek through the hospital to get up to the unit to return it.

We actually already graduate more medical students than we have residency spots and that’s not including international doctors and medical school graduates who need to complete one to be able to practice in the US. CMS provides most of the funding and there is a cap on the # they can fund.
