Starting from a sketched pixel circle, then adding wide eyes, coloring around in black, adding tiny little legs beneath and a tail to the side, then adding a circle around one eye, then adding a monocle chain from the circled eye, plus quizzical eyebrows and altering the eyes to look half-closed in the final fancy cat.
