Just been out in the lane (in dressing gown and slippers 🥶) looking up at the stars and catching some of the Leonid meteor shower. Saw 3 really clear ones in the 30 minutes I was out there. It's a glorious night for it here in the Eden Valley, lovely clear sky.

It was a cracking shop wasn't it? I was in Afflecks in Manchester a while back with my kids and I was explaining to them that we had all this in one shop on Tyneside! The most obscure posters, jackets, badges, poppers, joss sticks; it was all here. And Snoopy, Brian's cat. Memories.

Now that's a postcard 😄

I was back there a couple of months ago, couldn't believe that it's still in that state. You would think a plot in that location would be worth a fair bit. Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years.

This empty lot used to be the famous Kard Bar (Cross Street Newcastle upon Tyne). On December 1st 2015 the building burned down, tragically taking the life of Brian Sandells the owner.
