I happened to be traveling east across the St. Johns bridge on Sunday evening when I saw the Sapphire Princess approaching. I was able to hustle down the Cathedral Park under the St. Johns bridge to watch her sail by. (🧵)

Both cities are deepwater ports and intermodal centers. The ship works on Swan Island were home to Kaiser Shipbuilding Company during WWII. In addition to the Liberty and Victory class ships built there, Kaiser shipyards also gave us managed care. (🧵)
