I actually think this is intentional. I think the framing of neighborliness as “organized” and “dangerous” and “conspiratorial” is intended to frighten people away from decency. The message is, “We will label you a terrorist and kill you for being a decent person if you take care of your neighbors”

Turns out that sometimes neighbors get worried that their neighbors will have frostbite, so a half dozen or so folks bring by a $25 box of handwarmers and a few more bring by some snacks.

Hi! I’m from Minneapolis. You don’t have to wonder. They’re being violent with everybody from observers to passers-by on the streets to mothers taking their kids to school. They tear gassed a car with a 6 month old in it after being told by the parents they were just trying to get their kids safe.

No one cares about tax credits today. ICE is literally holding indigenous Americans in an immigration detention facility, which is not within their jurisdiction. A paramilitary force is holding literal citizen hostages and you’re bragging about the ACA? HELP US

Americans are worried about not being shot by the ICE agents who are literally constantly and overtly threatening the population of my city for having the audacity to do things like see them. We need Congress to take immediate action or cost will be the least of our concerns. We’re no longer free.

Killing and beating protesters here. It’s not idiocy. It’s coordinated and violent and brutal and intentional and smart and he is killing protesters here, and the fact that red state America is ignoring that while cheering on Iran is part of the joke to this administration.
