If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

When they say Trump calling a reporter "piggy" is "just being honest," they are revealing a key feature of the reactionary mind: it believes, at a deep brainstem level, that *everyone* is awful & selfish & ugly on the inside. Today I built the AionFX Celeritas, a clone of the Greer Lightspeed. Battery-only for now so I can try it before I label and paint the enclosure. AionFX does great work. I'm floored; this has cured my aversion to soft clipping overdrives. The Lightspeed circuit has some real mojo. #guitareffects

The Bluesky government accounts want unhinged engagement with their accounts to screenshot and provide to Fox News to justify their authoritarianism and I’m not going to do their work for them it’s my day off.

The Trump admin has come to bluesky. These new accounts for gov agencies are not run by anyone we know in the agencies and have all started off with Hatch Act violations.

In true bsky fashion, I'll be blocking the lot of them rather than giving them any engagement.

Am I wrong to see the use of "layoff" as an obvious attempt to imply that these firings are a budget cutting measure seen normally in the private sector? I have never heard the firing of federal workers referred to as a "layoff" before. I think the use of this term is disinformation.

Breadboarding the Greer Lightspeed, continuing my chase for overdrives that combine well with my home built 18 watt Marshall 1974x. I have the wrong op-amp (Greer uses a costly OPA2134 which I don't have yet) and wrong diodes. It sounds very good though, a simple asymmetric soft clipper.

I am old enough to remember the Big National Debate about flag burning that happened in the early 90s. A "people should go to jail for burning the flag" worm has been snoozing in Trump's brain since then (if not earlier) and something has stirred it up this year.

Yeah, I just took ages to do the graphics. I flipped the "turbo" off yesterday and really liked the change. This pedal is MUCH more at home feeding an amp that's cooking.

My "Tone Prince" overdrive. a modified Aion Achilles, itself a clone of the AnalogMan Prince of Tone. Mine has more bass in the LO-MID selection and a bit more compression in TURBO. Graphics feature a copyrighted symbol hence the scribble.
