I have missed collectively celebrating the team that I grew up cheering for. From George Bell catching the final out in 1985 to Alomar tagging Eckersley in 1992, Joe Carter meeting the moment in 1993, the Batflip in 2015, to this moment. Enjoy it. Nothing is guaranteed. Let’s bring it home.

How much do millennials hate using the phone?
Well, tonight, while I was putting our toddler to bed, my partner spent 25 minutes struggling with the website and the app for a pizza place.

I am deep in the fog of grant writing and mid semester shenanigans - I have zero memory of setting that reminder, it appeared like magic 😭

Eternally grateful that my past self knew I would be bogged down with something and completely forget to set up something for a course I'm teaching. A reminder popped up on my phone this morning and I literally said "what the?... Oh yeah!" out loud.

If it makes you feel better, when I review I'm always trying to get American authors to specify that they used a US sample in their title and throughout the paper (instead of letting them act like the US is the default).

I had to rush off to teach a class toward the end of our time, so I didn't get to finish my pumpkin with the group. But I did my homework and finished it at home later that night 😅🎃

Today we followed up our lab meeting with pumpkin carving - I just love the energy that is coming together in my lab this year! 🎃❤️ So grateful for these incredible scholars I get to mentor.

im very happy to announce that ive transitioned into my new role as an assistant professor at toronto metropolitan university (TMU) and im accepting applications for a graduate student to join my lab starting Fall 2026! joining the psych department at TMU is a literal dream come true 💙💛💙💛
