A piece of wet brown cardboard that was in a compost bin. The cardboard has a piece of white fungi that is fuzzy at the bottom and has two fingers or peaks.

🌱 Time to turn the compost today. I'm always amazed at the different kinds of fungi that I often find there. Not sure of it's name, please let me if you know.

🌱Wild blueberries and raspberries from my backyard. It's not the biggest harvest nor the largest berries, but probably the best I've ever tasted. The birds seem to think so too; the robins and juncos have been filling up on them the past few days.

A highlight of the summer is watching my 6 year old niece and her Unicorns United teammates play their first match against an out of town team. There was various levels of ball skills, but all encouraged each other and displayed tremendous enthusiasm for the beautiful game.

Yes, compost bin is heating up nicely. The warm temps the past week have helped it along but they have been mid 20s.

15 years is a good run for a bulb. They may need a bit of a boost. I plant in compost and throw another inch or 2 on top when they poke through in the spring. They seem to like that.
